# 2012 CLASS NEWS

After a busy year in 2011 of Patchwork and Quilting classess, retreats, travelling for workshops, and visiting tutors it is time to plan for 2012.

I will be presenting New Workshops in 2012.

I have also been accepted to teach at Rockhampton in Sep 2012, so for those that are up that way or if you simply want a great 5 day retreat  - contact me for more details.

In the New Year there will be more news on the Machine Embroidery classes with Anita James - we had them scheduled for 2011 but these were cancelled when Anita needed surgery, so I will list the dates as soon as they are set. Anita will be managing the bookings and can be contacted direct at

Indigo Niche ran a series of classes at QuiltTherapy Yeerongpilly studio in 2011 including those with Sylvia Pippen from Hawaii, and  plans are still being finalized for 2012 classes. If you want to contact  Colleen or Sue direct go to www.indigoniche.com.

SKILL BUILDER Groups

It was very exciting to see students from the many skillbuilder groups winning prizes in the EKKA and Queensland Quilters Quilt, and Redlands shows in 2011 - well done to those who had the courage to put their work on display!

For people in these groups, I am able to assist with designing a quilt, provide instructions on how to make many different styles, advise on quilting and finishing, and it doesn't matter whether it is a new project or an old one that has been in a cupboard or draw for quite some time. If you need help and are willing to face the challenge, I am happy to help. Students attend regularly each month and enjoy the ongoing support and friendship that exists within the groups.

Yeerongpilly

There are spaces available in the evening groups in 2012 on 2nd or 4th Wed each month from 6pm-10pm

Cost is $25 for each night session. Contact me to book your spot.

All day sessions are full at this stage.

Grandvale

Day groups are full at Grandvale as well and there are a few spots available in the Monday night group - 1st Mon each month.
